Christian finished up his first year of soccer with Evolution soccer club at the end of May! Since he started last fall, he has grown leaps and bounds in his soccer skills! It's been so much fun to watch him progress and have a lot of fun in the process. (Which, I would say was the most important thing at his age, right?) You bet. And his coaches agree--which I love.
They also stress learning skills/moves, positions, and teamwork. Notice I did not say goals and winning. Both Coaches Chris and Isaiah would say that once the skills, positions, and teamwork are in place, then the goals will come. They were right too. The boys did very well this season. Christian also loved having one of his best buddies, Sullivan, on his team. (It sure is cute watching them play around too :-).)
We are so proud of Christian and how hard he worked these past ten months!
