Post-Nap Loves
Britta loves her big sis. After she wakes up from her nap, she loves to see Juliana walk into her room with me. Big hugs are usually on the menu. It's just so sweet!
Mani-Pedis
Ju Ju and I are really enjoying our afternoons together while Britta takes her nap. With good weather we are usually outside and this time we gave ourselves mani-pedis. (Well, Juliana got the mani and the pedi. Polish never stays on my nails for more than an hour before chipping so I just got a pedi :-).)
Juliana likes color so we added some cute polka dots to the paint too. (Just check out her cute little hands and feet! Gah!)
We're twinsies!
A Beautiful Mess
Britta LOVES to read. And take books off of the shelves. And read some more. And take more books off of the shelves. And basically repeat until she's surrounded by books and there are no more on the shelves. It's lovely and frustrating all at the same time. Some days, I will try and pick them up, but if she sees that the books are all back on the shelves, she gets excited to read them again and will pull them right back off and plop right back down and start reading again. It's really cute. And messy.

Busy Kids
Never a dull moment at the Lindseth's. Someone is always painting, building, or pulling out something or another. Alas, I will never achieve that "clean house" look...but I'm sure I'll miss some of their more creative messes once they're grown up.
Britta loves to play in the pretend kitchen (and even the real one for that matter). She plays independently incredibly well and I am extremely grateful for that!
Visiting Grandma Karen
Sweetheart
I volunteer up in Kari's class once a week and help with guided reading/sight words/writing. These little kindergartners are amazing! They go from not knowing more than their letters to full-on reading in a matter of a month! Here is what Kari chose to write one morning:-). Yay!
Bob the Builder(s)
I've posted and raved about our wonderful library before, so this post is really going to be repetitive. But, it's my blog so I can be repetitive if I want to. (See what I did there? No synonym for "repetitive" needed.) But I digress...
One Friday morning the library pulled out all of their blocks. Big, small, soft, hard, whatever. They all came out. My girls thought their huge soft lego-esque blocks were AWESOME and had a great time building towers and houses and then knocking them down only to rebuild again. Such fun!
I love my mornings with these sweet little girls!
