Family Pictures 2013

 Back in October, my awesome sister took on the challenge of shooting our family pictures!  Oh yes, it was quite the task.  She tackled not only the late afternoon sun (it always seems to take us just a tad too long to get out of the house!), but also four lively and "spirited" animals, um, children who never quite wanted to fully cooperate at the same time!  Yet, despite all of the odds against her, Erin still managed to get quite a few great shots!

Group Shots

Here are "The Group Shots." Now, we had meant to get pictures of each individual family, but it was 100 degrees outside (literally) and the humidity was oppressive. Not exactly condusive to a huge photo session with multiple little ones. Plus, we only had about 20 minutes to take them before Amy and Luke had to get to the airport. (And the reason we only had 20 minutes was because Cubby and Shawn got lost trying to find the movie theater to get tickets for Harry Potter!--Our one "show" that we saw in Branson! Ha!) So, we did the best we could!

Here are the "original" Lindseths...minus Peter who just got a new job and couldn't get away. We're going to try and photoshop him in :-). Here is the whole clan! Not too shabby either considering our circumstances! (And, this outdoor shot was taken on a hill that was atleast at a 45 degree angle and we were all just inches away from sliding right down it!)
And, finally, I just love this shot! Regan, Auntie Amy, and Emily look soooo similar it's spooky!

Family Pictures 2010

Monday night, we got our family pictures taken! I met a new friend, Jodi, over the summer during our kids' swim lessons and she is starting up a photography business. She was looking for guinea pigs and we gladly volunteered! We went to the Flynn's orchard--the most magical place in Nebraska! Jodi had her work cut out for her--getting three kids to smile (or at least in Kari's case, not cry when put down) all at the same time wasn't easy! But, thankfully, quite a few turned out really great. Here are some of my favorites...Oh, and I'm working on getting some of the "bloopers" (Christian's, not Cubby's, nose-picking, etc...) from her as well to post as those are always fun to remember too! Thank you, again, Jodi! We love them!
