A Soccer Story

Once upon a time there were two little girls who wanted to give spring soccer a try.  So, their loving parents signed them up for a session of Tiny Toes!  And, since Christian plays for their club team, Evolution, it was free!  (So, if they hated it, like Kari had in the past....no big deal!)

They started out all smiles...

Then they practiced some dribbling up and down the field, along with some goal kicks.

It wasn't too long, however, before both girls were hot, thirsty, and (Juliana) hungry.  So, they took a quick break.
And then headed out for a little scrimmage!  Yup, that's Kari out there with all boys!
Juliana made a little buddy too.
But, then our Ju Ju got hot and tired...
And ended up kicking it around with Grandpa for a little bit :-).

In the end, this session was mildly successful.  It was better than Kari's first outdoor venture into soccer the previous fall, when it rained or was windy and she refused to play at all.  But, it was warm and so it was tough to keep the girls (and parents) motivated to stay out there each week.  Indoor this past fall (Oct 2015) was much better for all!

The end.
